O Christmas Tree

To the Christmas tree farm we go!

We picked up a lumber jack on our way there.
Oh wait.
That's the daddy.
Where did all that hair come from?

We found it!

We watched the Christmas Devotional last night.
My favorite part was when Pres. Monson Quoted "What Will I Give Him," by Christina G. Rosetti.
All of the kids gasped.
Their eyes lit up.
They started reciting it with him!
That is one of the poems we have memorized together.

I used one of my doodle frames to make it.
I hope you like it!

I am copying and printing that also. It just makes me happy to look at how bright and happy it is. Thanks, once again for sharing. Love to you all!! Wish we were Christmas treeing together! Merry Christmas!

  4. Love the photos! Especially the rare shot with Jena in it!! Brian looks so handsome and distinguished in his beard. The kids are all irresistably adorable. Fabulous tree! Reminds me of when I was very little and we used to go out into the forest to find and cut our tree (it was allowed then). Forest-grown isn't so perfect as tree farm grown, but so much fun to drive, park by the road and tromp behind Daddy into the forest through the snow. I'm not sure where we lived when we did that -- it was when we were near forest. It must have been some when we lived in Provo, and some when we lived in Klamath Falls (where Fred was born). I wonder if Cathy would remember better? Love the poem and your rendering of it. The Christmas devotional is up on the website now. I listened to all the songs - I just adore the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. The text for all the talks is up now (always takes a couple of days longer than the videos) so I can now go back and read them too.
